의견 ;

Why convert natural gas into electricity with so much loss?

When will gas oil run out?

At the current rates of production,

oil will run out in 53 years,

natural gas in 54 years,

coal in 110 years, according to estimates from the 2015 World Energy Outlook study by the International Energy Agency. Apr 28, 2023

How long will natural gas last in the world?

about 52 years,

According to the MAHB, (Millennium Alliance for Humanity and Biosphere)

the world's oil reserves will run out by 2052, natural gas by 2060 and coal by 2090

Which countries have the biggest natural gas reserves?

Russia – 38 trillion cubic metres.

Iran – 32 trillion cubic metres.

Qatar – 24.7 trillion cubic metres.

Turkmenistan – 19.5 trillion cubic metres.

United States – 12.9 trillion cubic metres.

What is the efficiency of converting gas to electricity?

Natural gas: 44% efficient, meaning 56% of the energy in the gas was lost,

with 44% of the energy turned into electricity. Coal: 32% efficient. Nuclear: 33% efficient.

Did California ban natural gas in new homes?

SAN FRANCISCO — The politically liberal enclave of Berkeley, California became the first U.S. city to adopt a ban on natural gas in new homes and buildings in 2019, which started a climate change-driven effort in dozens of other cities and counties that's morphed into a heated debate about the future of gas stoves. What cities are banning natural gas appliances?

Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, and other progressive cities have already moved to ban most gas appliances in any new homes or apartments.

The logic behind the ban comes down to two main factors: the environment and health.
